When instances are created, they are available by default with the domaine <name>.appspot.dataiads.io.
To allow the client to use his product pages in his subdomains, each subdomain has to be to save into the instance.
Prerequisites
The client have to map the subdomains to Dataiads servers. To obtain the DNS parameters:
On the settings section go to "setup & install"
On DNS Configuration section, you can add a new subdomain by clicking on "New domain"
Set the Domain and Mirrored domain and let "Generate SSL certificate" if necessary
Click on Next
A new window will appear giving the choix to have a CNAME type DNS or a A type DNS. Either choice has no impact for the creation.
By clicking on Create, a few minutes are necessary to check if the subdomain and certificate can be created.
Once created the certificate needs some minutes or hours to be generated. A status is displayed and can be refresh until the process done.
Notes:
Clients can provide their own certificate. For this case please check with the tech team.
You can link multiple subdomains within the same instance. The usual use case is a subdomain per country
The cookie domain is now set per subdomain
