Introduction

Feed optimize is a feature allowing you to interact with your GMC fields by inserting variables from mappings to update your GMC dataset.

Access to feed optimize

From the menu and Feed enrich section you can access to the Feed optimize feature.

Overview

Feed optimize displays a list of GMC fields given by a selected GMC datasource. Note that if the instance contains no GMC datasource the overview will display a blank interface.

From the Feed Optimizations tab you can add rules on a fied to define your variables to enrich.

Enrich your fields

To enrich your fields you need to create rules to apply. Each rule has to contain a target (products) and a mapping field (with the same format as the GMC field).

Target

Choose a list already defined from the Lists feature.

Field replacement

Use a mapping variable who will be used to enrich your gmc field.

Priority

Rearrange your rules to define a priority when improving your GMC field.

For products not targeted by any rules, the GMC field will keep its own value.

Once all targeted rules are set you can save your configuration.

Preview

Use the preview tab to visualize on a random product (or a targeted product with lpoid) how your GMC fields will be displayed according to the product and the target rules applied on it.

Results on GMC

To enrich your products from GMC a synchronization between Dataiads and the GMC source is mandatory (extractor_job and load_job).

Product file exports

In addition to send data to GMC, Feed optimization can also send data as file exports to use other APIs who accept TSV format. Each update is applied on the same file.

For each file, a link is generated. A password can also be added to secure the data.
